Arizona

Synonymous with red rocks and the Grand Canyon, there's plenty to see in Arizona beyond its golf courses.

Stunning scenery and mesmerizing sunsets are what Arizona does best, making locales like Sedona and Scottsdale great getaways for those looking for a nature fix in the desert.

Start off in the Phoenix area, where there are all sorts of fun activities like hot air balloon rides, glamping and even goat yoga. Scottsdale is popular for its Old Town, golf courses and spas, where you can book into a luxe resort like The Phoenician which is at the base of Camelback Mountain and the perfect place to welcome the sunrise. A great time to visit is during Christmas in Scottsdale, where there are all sorts of fun activities and events to celebrate the festive season.

A trip to the Grand Canyon is a must, which can be viewed by standing along the canyon rim, hiking down or on multi-day rafting trips. Photographers will want to head to Horseshoe Bend, and try and secure a spot on a guided tour into Antelope Canyon to see the swirling rock formations naturally carved by centuries of erosion.
