About: Globe Guide's Tamara Elliott

Tamara Elliott is an award-winning travel writer, photographer and one of Canada’s top travel experts. She’s the founder of Globe Guide, which offers savvy tips for exploring destinations around the world while showcasing unique experiences. Tamara has explored 90+ countries, and specializes in adventure travel, wellness, glamping, wine tourism and luxury accommodations.

Her work has appeared in publications including Outside Magazine, Reader’s Digest, Lonely Planet, The Calgary Herald and AFAR, and she has been featured by Frommer’s, Fodor’s The Globe and Mail, National Post and MoneySense Magazine. Tamara appears in on-air travel segments on Global News, CTV and News Talk 770, and is a member of the SATW, ATTA and TMAC. She was named as one of Canada’s most accomplished millennials by Flare Magazine, and one of Canada’s top travel influencers by Readers’ Digest.

Tamara is also the founder and travel editor of The Gorge Guide, which focuses on the best experiences in the Columbia River Gorge. She is based in Calgary, Alberta.
